The origin of pigment spots.

Spots are the result of a misproduction of melanin in skin due to aging, hormonal changes or frequent exposure to sunlight (photo aging).

The cosmetic treatment of pigment spots is designed to inhibit the action of tyrosinase (to prevent the conversion of tyrosine into dopaquinone, and then melanin) and protect skin from potential damage caused by sun exposure.

Glycation, lipid peroxidation or oxidative stress situations may result in excessive pigmentation of skin.

The prevention of pigment spots resides in limiting sun exposure and getting appropriate protection against free radicals.


Efficacy

Correctiv' Skin© Cream contains a whitening complex that inhibits tyrosinase and thus prevents the conversion of tyrosine into melanin. Associated with titanium dioxide, it also has properties as anti-UVA and anti-UVB.


Ingredients

Correctiv' Skin© Cream contains a complex of skin whitening based extract of Waltheria indica and Ferulic acid. The Walteria Indica is a tropical plant particularly sought for its properties to reduce brown spots of the skin.


Instruction for Use

Correctiv' Skin© Cream is to be applied morning and evening focusing on the hyperpigmented areas.
